Pom-Pon headband- made by me, in the shop!
This isn't really my New Year's Eve outfit, but I'd thought I post it because it's one of my favorites. I'm big fan of colors that look like they belong on a 1970s couch! Plus, the skirt is wool, so it's super warm! I would like to say that the shoes are comfy, but that would be a lie. Actually, it's probably just the fact that I am horrible at walking in heels. I'm sure no respectable blogger would admit that, but I have no pride or shame, so it's out there now! There's pretty much no high heel that I can wear that I will not look ridiculous walking in, but that doesn't stop me from attempting it anyway. I can't quit you!
Annnyway, it's New Year's Eve day! I hope everyone has amazing plans and fancy attire! I'm going to be spending the afternoon taking pictures and play games with Sarah! What are all of your plans?
I don't really have any words of inspiration (that's not really my forte), but I do hope everyone has a safe holiday!
P.S. I'm going to tack on one other non-outfit picture to this post. I had a pair of oxfords that I never wore because they were kind of the same color as old lady Easy Spirits, and whenever I put them on, I couldn't help but be reminded of a nursing home. Instead of getting rid of them, I decided to spray paint them bright colors, and now I love them. I think they might be my favorite thing I've DIYed, and I just thought I would share! The picture was taken on my crappy phone camera, so I apologize for that in advance!
