I was really cold when I took this picture, and I'm sure you can tell. Since I see other bloggers do things like this all the time, I didn't think it would be that bad, but I think that will be the last time I venture out in the dead of winter in a short sleeve shirt without a jacket. Surprisingly, the winter here hasn't been too cold, though. This is one of the only really cold days that I can remember so far. I want snow, dangit!
Anyway, lately I've been on a turbo crafting kick. I think it's probably due to the fact that I know I should be applying for jobs, but I put that off by telling myself that I need to make things for the etsy shop, even though most of the things I make turn out to be for myself. One of the things I'm super excited about is this skirt that I'm revamping. On the top of the skirt, there's this area that looks kind of like a fabric belt, and on this belt, I'm going to sew a gold revolver surrounded by embroidered flowers. It might be hard to picture, but I will post the finished project once I'm done with it! If it looks good, that is! I've already finished the revolver, and now I just need to do the flowers, but I don't know how to embroider, so it's taking awhile. I'm just winging it!
p.s. Here are a few things I've been working on for the shop! Sarah took this picture for me. Thanks Sarah!
