Baby Showerzzz

As you may know, Sarah is going to have a little baby girl pretty soon, so last week, Erin, Kate, and I hosted a baby shower for her! It was the first time any of us have ever planned any showers, so we relied heavily on pinterest. I think we came up with some pretty good ideas (mostly thanks to Erin and Kate scouting them out!), and it turned out to be a blast (at least I had a blast! I hope everyone else did, too!)

The spread involved cucumber sandwiches, lots of veggies and dip, and some delicious vegan cupcakes! I'm pretty sure I ate at least five plates of food.  Couldn't stop! Wouldn't stop!

Erin had the genius idea of purchasing tiny, creepy babies that were inspired by that horribly hilarious blog post on cake wrecks. As a side note, have you ever come across a blog/idea/joke that is so funny, you are jealous that you didn't think of it first? That is how I feel about the cake wrecks blog.

Anyway, we decided to only have one baby themed game, which happened to be the poopy diaper game.  We smashed up microwaved chocolate bars in diapers, and then forced everyone to smell them so they could guess which candy bar it was.  It was disgusting!

(Sarah's amazing mom! I will always be envious of her hair!)

                                                                            Kate!

After that, Sarah opened her presents, and I snapped a million pictures! I was definitely the annoying girl with the camera that day, but I was capturing moments! MOMENTS!
                                                                  The onlookers admire!
Sarah's grandmother quilted her a beautiful baby blanket, and Sarah's mom finished it! It was super sweet! They are a family of excellent sewers and knitters!
We finished off with a craft! Sarah's mom is going to make a quilted baby blanket out of little squares that each person decorated!
                                                                         Friendship!

It was a great day, and I thought it would be nice to share with all of you, too! I can't wait for her to get here!
