It's a Girl!

      Hi everyone!  I have so much to share with you.  I'm happy to announce that my sweet baby girl, Maggie, was born on September 10.  On the same day Maggie was born, I had tumors successfully removed from my ovaries and I'm now cancer free! The past six weeks have been the busiest and happiest of my life.  I've never slept less, worked harder, and been so completely in love before. 
     I'm finally feeling like my old self again, mentally and physically.  Mentally, a HUGE weight has been lifted from my shoulders.  I no longer have to worry that I won't get to see my baby girl grow up, and that is such a gift.  I treasure every day I get to spend with my family.  Also, I was cleared to go back to yoga just this week, and I'm SO happy to have my old routine back.  Yoga is the best way to start my day with a calm and clear head, and I love it! 
     You probably won't see any outfit posts from me for a while.  I'm now at the frustrating part of postpartum life where my maternity clothes are too big, but my old clothes are too small.  I'm living in yoga pants and oversized sweaters for the moment, and it better not get too cold before my dang coat zips up again!
     If any of you have seen my posts before, you may notice that I chopped off all of my hair - 15 inches!  It was a pretty traumatic experience, but the truth is I don't even have time to brush my teeth every day, let alone deal with super long hair!  I donated my hair to Locks of Love where it'll be made into hairpieces for children who have lost their hair due to a medical condition.  And hopefully it won't be too long before my hair grows out a bit!
     Here are a couple of pictures of me and my sweet girl.  I'm sure you'll agree that she is the most beautiful baby in the whole world.
